Meet the Owners
Legacy Equestrian was founded in February 2025 by three devoted boarders who shared a vision of upholding the highest standards of horsemanship and riding, carried forward through our head trainer, Tyler Anderson. Each owner brings a unique blend of skills and experience from our diverse backgrounds and careers, and we also board our own horses on-site as well. The passion and admiration we pour into this facility every day is something we truly cherish and enjoy.
Lauren Cialella
Lauren serves as co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of the Victory Lane franchise. A dedicated mother to two daughters, Lauren’s equestrian journey began a when one of her girls developed a passion for horse ownership and showing. Her daughter’s horses, Bacardi, Luna, and Goose, are all part of the Legacy Equestrian family, where they live and compete. Lauren’s extensive experience in business ownership, coupled with her expertise in managing the facility’s finances, makes her an invaluable asset to the operation.
Erica Sarver
Erica is an accomplished attorney with a passion for riding and competing that began in her youth. She proudly owns and boards her beloved Off-the-Track Thoroughbred, Charlotte, as well as her sweet young pony, Ricky, at Legacy. Erica is an active competitor, regularly showing Charlotte in various horse shows. Beyond her equestrian pursuits, she oversees all of our legal affairs and manages the organization's entities with expertise and dedication.
Lannis Smith
Lannis is a passionate Naturalist at the local nature center, where she leads educational programs and shares her love for the outdoors. An accomplished rider since the age of five, she served as Captain of the Albion College Equestrian team and brings a wealth of expertise in riding and horsemanship. She boards her young horse, Ace, at Legacy and has recently begun showing him. In addition to teaching, Lannis collaborates closely with Tyler to overseeing and ensuring all aspects of horse care is managed with excellence and reliability.
